As I continue to do the “artifacts” on my content creation, I am getting better and more natural at writing. It makes me even more innovative, especially in designs of layouts and templates that represent my ideas in a very comprehensible and effective way. Capturing my ideas and molding them into shape and in a manner that brings forth clarity and cohesion is what I am absolutely in love with. These early drafts are a guide to the final product, helping me to get a better sense of direction and recalling my objectives along the way.
To begin with, I decide to start creating the template for LinkedIn posts, a design that captures the main points while keeping details clean. The layout is a simple-to-follow quick visual checklist for daily social media posting, striking a balance between repetition and surprise. On the left side, there is a special section that is highlighted, which shows today’s theme and post subject, and in brief description which places the post. The format of the layout ensures that the audience can easily identify the central idea at a glance. Apart from that, the right column features a vertical column with space for a mix of images and accompanying text, both of which add more information about the topic. The use of organized content and imagery results in a consistent design that can easily be modified to suit any topics or themes, thereby making content creation easier and enhancing looks.

I then followed with creating a weekly schedule as I love organizing by schedules to ensure I stay on track with posting on certain days based on the trends in healthcare. This weekly plan offers a strategic posting calendar for LinkedIn, tailored specifically for medical professionals. Themed posts are recommended every weekday to accommodate consistency and interaction, leaving the weekends open when most in the field take some time off.
- Mondays begin the week off on the right foot with inspiration and optimism through motivational photos and quotes so everyone can start transitioning back into the workweek and catch up on the latest pharma marketing trends.
- Tuesdays are all about patient care with inspiring stories and photos from real healthcare settings.
- Wednesdays feature a midweek question pertaining to healthcare that ignites conversations and community among healthcare professionals.
- “Throwback Thursday” takes advantage of Thursdays, reminiscing about the experiences of individuals who’ve made a positive impact on the healthcare community.
- Fridays wind down the week with highlights of outstanding healthcare products or facilities and trending industry topics.
This routine makes content preparation easier and ensures posts remain current, inspirational, and educative for a working demographic.

As I continue my progress, I think to myself “You know what? Since I am in a designing mood, why not create a LinkedIn banner?” because I feel it is important to have a banner that captures people’s attention. This banner features The Pharma Market logo, a healthcare site with great presence on LinkedIn. Its crisp design and neutral color gradient are clean and professional. The elegant script font of the name complements the simple and clean font of “HEALTHCARE” and the LinkedIn website URL, a declaration of balance of creativity and credibility. By the provided LinkedIn link, one is encouraged to connect with the company on LinkedIn, making it more visible online in pharmaceutical and health care advertising. Keep in mind that the name “The Pharma Market” is a placeholder for now as I still need to consider a unique name for the page.

The artifacts were created out of a random spark of inspiration after reading articles such as “Pharmaceutical marketing and the new social media” and “Pharma marketing: Effective strategies and trends”. Some ideas I utilized were connected to improvements in technology and “essential strategies, tactics, and trends shaping pharma marketing today” (Belman-Adams). With research I planned ahead, it helped me create my project easier due to having a better understanding of the expectations.
With the production journal, I find it much easier as I love planning things out weekly. I do it all the time in my everyday life as I work full time and attend school, so I need to carry a planner with me to keep track of my assignments and tasks for the week to meet deadlines. Creating a production journal came easy as I list out my goals and tasks each week to monitor my activities per day (i.e. rest day due to exhaustion and spent all day creating artifacts).
After reviewing all my progress for the week, I feel like I did a substantial amount for this week. This is due to having a spark of motivation and inspiration for designing and organizing based on my past experiences for personal and professional use. I mostly enjoyed writing and organizing content, drawing both on my past experience and on those abilities I have acquired over the years. Stemming from my own projects and professional endeavors, I apply those learnings and make the experience valuable. This week particularly made me understand my energy when fueled by creative purpose and personal passion.
